After Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide, filmmaker Karan Johar has been the target of several trolls due to his alleged nepotism about the release of only star children in his films. Now, after failing to follow many people and more than a month off on social media, it seems that Karan has created a private Instagram account for his closest friends.
The account now appears to be deactivated or the name has been changed. He only had one post and was followed by some of his closest friends including Suhana Khan, Shweta Bachchan, Gauri Khan, Ananya Panday, others. Karan was also criticized on social media recently after attending Neetu Kapoor’s birthday celebrations. The image was published by Neetu and also featured Ranbir Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Samaira, and the Bachchans.
Karan was especially trolled on social media after reports said that negativity and hate have affected him greatly, which he received since Sushant’s death. Netizens saw the filmmaker partying with Ranbir and Neetu and asked if the filmmaker was depressed.
Shortly after Sushant’s death, it was Kangana Ranaut who openly called Karan by posting a video on Instagram. Kangana had stated that Bollywood had groupism and that they intimidated people in no way. The actress was also to be a witness in a case against Karan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Salman Khan and five other personalities, which was recently dismissed in Bihar court. Karan Johar’s public account still remains dormant, as his last post was dedicated to Sushant and he regretted not having reconnected with him before his untimely death.
